W.P.I.P. extends BASF Poland’s plant2018-04-17
The area of the biggest in Europe BASF company’s factory of catalytic converters will be enlarged by 14 000 square metres. A second production hall with a new office building as well as technical and parking infrastructure is under construction in Środa Śląska. The general contractor of the investment is W.P.I.P. which implemented the first stage of the investment.
The investment implemented by W.P.I.P. in Środa Śląska for BASF Poland company is at the second stage of construction. As part of this investment, the second hall with the area of over 10 000 square metres is built next to the current one. It will be made of Astron steel construction, and it will be equipped with technical pipe rack for installations necessary to assemble new production lines. The factory of catalytic converters will be also extended with a new office building with the area of almost 2000 square metres as well as a ground car park with 96 parking spaces for passenger cars and 8 spaces for goods vehicles.
Let us recall that W.P.I.P. designed and built over the 2012-2014 period within the framework of the first stage of the investment for BASF a building complex – a production hall (36 000 square metres), a high storage warehouse (50 000 square metres) and an office building (2500 square metres).
